Wedding Car Rental in Ness Ziona

A hill the poet Bialik named for love, a street named for Herzl's novel and wildflower hills at the edge of town, with a black G63.
The Mercedes-AMG G63 driver's area: orange leather steering wheel, digital screens and a diamond-quilted seat

Ness Ziona likes to call itself a city with the heart of a moshava, the old Hebrew word for a farming village, and the label fits. It was declared a city only in 1992, and its core is still walkable: Tel Aviv Street, named after the Hebrew title of Herzl's utopian novel years before the big city took the name, Love Hill above it, and wildflower hills on the western edge. A wedding car rental in Ness Ziona is planned around those short walks.

You'd be riding in a black G-Class, the Mercedes-AMG G63 people know as the G-Wagon, with an orange quilted-leather interior and five seats. Choose a chauffeur, so the car fits around the walking parts of your day, or drive it yourselves; we plan it all in English. One thing to know early: Weizmann Street, the town's main road, has bus-line construction moving through the center.

01 · Ness Ziona

Why couples in Ness Ziona choose the G-Class

  • A hill named for love

The first houses were built around a hill between Tel Aviv and HaMinyan HaRishon Streets, leaving its top open. Steps went up in 1920, and young villagers met there. When Hayim Nahman Bialik, the great Hebrew poet, heard about it, he named it Love Hill.

  • The blue-and-white banner of 1891

On January 1, 1891, at a village celebration, Michael Halperin rode in on horseback and unfurled a flag with two blue stripes, a Star of David and the words Ness Ziona in gold. He later took it to the First Zionist Congress, where it became a model for the movement's flag. Rishon LeZion tells its own version.

  • Wildflowers at the city's edge

Derech Givot HaKurkar, the road along the western edge, borders about 800 dunams (200 acres) of open land: low hills of kurkar, the local sandstone, small pine and eucalyptus groves and old citrus groves. In winter and spring the hills bloom with purple irises, anemones and some 300 other plant species.

02 · Pickup

Pickup on the day in Ness Ziona

The town is built in layers, with village-era houses around Tel Aviv Street. Ramat Samel in the northwest has villas beneath a water tower you can see from far off. Argaman, a new neighborhood in the west, is laid out as an ellipse around a park, with buildings of four to eight floors, while Savyonei Netzer in the east climbs higher. Tirat Shalom and Kfar Aharon were once separate villages.

Typical pickups

  • A villa in Ramat Samel, with the water tower behind you
  • An apartment in Argaman, beside the park at the center of the ellipse
  • A house in Tirat Shalom, founded in 1931 as a moshav, a cooperative farming village
  • A tower in Savyonei Netzer, on the east side of Weizmann Street

03 · Photos

Photo stops with the car in Ness Ziona

Public places couples choose for photos, with what to know before you go.
  • 01

Tel Aviv Street and Beit Rishonim

Running parallel to Weizmann Street, this street keeps buildings from the first years of settlement. Beit Rishonim, at No. 19, opened in 1907 as the village school, also served as council house and synagogue, and has been a museum of local history since 1977.

People live on this street, so photograph the historic houses from outside. Arrange any shoot in the museum or its courtyard with Beit Rishonim.

  • 02

The Flag Trail and Love Hill

A signposted walking route the city created in 2008. It begins at the house of Reuven Lehrer, the founder, follows Tel Aviv and HaMinyan HaRishon Streets and passes ten heritage sites, including the place where the flag was raised and Love Hill, where villagers built the Great Synagogue themselves and dedicated it in 1926.

The trail runs through residential streets, and the synagogue is in active use: shoot it from outside, never during prayers.

  • 03

The kurkar hills and the Shomer HaGvaot Trail

Protected open land west of the city, earmarked as a national park. The main path, Shomer HaGvaot (Guardian of the Hills), is for walkers and cyclists, and you join it where Derech Givot HaKurkar meets HaShiryon Street. Pines, eucalyptus and, in season, purple irises frame the shot.

Since March 2021, an Environmental Protection Ministry order bans vehicles here. The G63 stays on the street; walk in and keep off the plants.

  • 04

    Iris Hill (Givat HaIrusim)

A kurkar hill about 50 meters high on the border with Rishon LeZion, named for the purple iris that flowers there mainly in winter and spring. The view from the top looks mostly east. You reach it from Route 412, and the Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel has a marked trail in the area.

Wear shoes that can handle sandy paths. The Rishon LeZion municipality bought the hill in 2022, so ask there before a professional shoot.

04 · Event areas

Where weddings happen around Ness Ziona

  • A Maariv report from July 2026 found big, high-end weddings shifting to the Ness Ziona area from Tel Aviv, Herzliya and Caesarea, where that market used to concentrate.
  • An event garden also stands close to Iris Hill.

05 · The route

Planning the drive in Ness Ziona

Weizmann Street is a section of Route 412 and the town's spine, with the mall, the central bus station and Founders' Garden along it; it carries on north to Rishon LeZion and south to Rehovot. The Metronit's Blue Line, a bus rapid transit route, is being built along it, and once the line runs, part of the street will close to private cars.

To stay out of it, use the roads around town. Route 423, the eastern bypass, runs from the roundabout near the Science Park to the Ness Ziona interchange on Route 431. At the northern entrance, the Rishonim interchange puts you on Route 431, west to the Ayalon Highway or east toward Modi'in. On the west side, Yitzhak Rabin Road leads down to Beit Oved Junction and Route 42.

  • Weizmann Street (Route 412): Blue Line works
  • Route 423: the eastern bypass to the Ness Ziona interchange
  • Rishonim interchange: onto Route 431
  • Yitzhak Rabin Road: down to Beit Oved Junction
  • Route 42, west of town

06 · Chauffeur or self-drive

A wedding car with a chauffeur in Ness Ziona

In Ness Ziona the strongest pictures are taken on foot: along the Flag Trail, up Love Hill and on the kurkar paths, where no car may go. With a chauffeur, the plan can be to drop you where the walk begins and meet you with the G63 where it ends, so nobody doubles back in formal shoes. Heading to the hall, the choice between Weizmann Street and Route 423 can be made on the spot, by that hour's traffic.

09 · Questions

Questions about a wedding in Ness Ziona

When do the irises bloom in the hills around Ness Ziona?

The purple iris flowers mainly in winter and spring, together with anemones, buttercups and chrysanthemums. If your date falls in those months, plan a stop at Iris Hill or on the Shomer HaGvaot Trail, and look at the bloom a few days before, since it varies from year to year. A small reserve west of Moshav Beit Hanan protects another patch of it.

Can the car drive into the kurkar hills for photos?

No. In December 2020 the environmental protection minister signed an order making the area a protected zone closed to vehicles, and it took effect in March 2021; most of the land had already been fenced in 2016. The G63 stops on the street by the trail entrance, and you continue on foot. From the roadside, the car sits in front of the hills.
