Wedding Car Rental in Holon

Holon takes its name from chol, the Hebrew word for sand, because it rose on dunes south of Tel Aviv; in 1940 five early neighborhoods joined to form one local council. There is no beach, yet couples find a lot to photograph: a park whose lake ends in a waterfall, designed gardens and a museum wrapped in steel. Choosing the backdrops that suit you is the first step of a wedding car rental in Holon.
With no shoreline to anchor the day, the route links parks, gardens and cultural buildings scattered among the neighborhoods, in an order set by your hall and the sunset. The biggest change on the streets lately is construction for the Green Line light rail, planned along Sokolov Street and Jerusalem Boulevard. You keep the G63 from the first door to the last, as passengers or at the wheel yourselves, and we plan it all with you in English.

Why couples in Holon choose the G-Class
Five neighborhoods, one city
Green, Moledet, Agrobank, Kiryat Avoda and Shchunat Am merged in 1940, and in Green, the first of them, a few founders' houses still stand. Newer boulevards lined with tall apartment buildings grew beside the old quarters, so you can choose a quiet street of low houses or a fresh skyline.
Culture in designed buildings
The Mediatheque, opened in 2004, puts a library and a youth theater under one roof, and Ron Arad's Design Museum joined it in 2010. Holon also has a children's museum, the Israeli Cartoon Museum and a puppet theater center: modern backdrops that match the G-Class's straight lines.
Green instead of a coastline
Peres Park, in the southeast, is Holon's largest green space, followed by Pillbox Park on a hill in the northwest, and Herzl Garden runs through the center beside Weizmann Street. Scattered between neighborhoods are a Japanese garden, a Korean garden with carved wooden totems and a sculpture garden, each with its own feel.
02 · Pickup
Pickup on the day in Holon
Holon grew as a patchwork, and each piece sets its own pickup terms. In Green and the Mifdeh HaEzrachi estate, with low houses and lanes off the main roads, you'll likely leave from a private home. In Kiryat Pinchas Eilon, around Holon Mall and the Mediatheque, and on the boulevard between Golda Meir and HaHistadrut, buildings are mostly tall, so decide which side of yours the car should wait on.
Typical pickups
- Green or Mifdeh HaEzrachi: leaving from a family home
- A tower in Kiryat Pinchas Eilon, near Holon Mall and the Mediatheque
- A villa in Neve Arazim, ringed by the industrial zone
- Getting ready near Sokolov Street, where Green Line works have begun

The lake in Peres Park
In the park's western part, a rectangular artificial lake runs about 200 by 20 meters (roughly 650 by 65 feet), with a rock waterfall at its northern tip and boats for hire. A bridge crosses to the Children's Museum, and a palm grove lies beyond the grassy amphitheater.
The Toto Holon arena and the La Park complex share the park, so game and concert nights bring crowds; check their calendars first.
- 02
The Japanese Garden on Jerusalem Boulevard
About two dunams (half an acre) between Professor Shor and Bezalel Streets, designed by Chaim Kahanovich after Japanese models. A small waterfall feeds streams that wind between pergolas, and a pagoda house in the middle stands surrounded by water, reached over little bridges.
The boulevard is on the planned Green Line route; recheck traffic arrangements close to the date, and pull over only where it's allowed.

Design Museum Holon and the Mediatheque
Ron Arad, with Bruno Asa, wrapped the museum in bands of Cor-Ten steel in several shades, made in Italy, and from the inner courtyard you see the sky through the spirals. It sits beside the Mediatheque in the culture complex: shoot the car against the steel, then walk into the courtyard.
For a long professional session at these public buildings, ask the management whether coordination is needed.

Yigal Tumarkin's sculpture garden
At 61 Weizmann Street, near the Cartoon Museum, a 1971 garden built as a sequence of spaces between concrete walls holds about 20 works by Tumarkin. Concrete, metal and hard shadows make a graphic setting, far from the green of the parks and suited to minimalist pictures.
04 · Event areas
Where weddings happen around Holon
- South in Rishon LeZion, two event halls operate in the leisure complex on the Superland lake shore, beside cinemas and restaurants.
- West in Bat Yam, event halls cluster where Independence Boulevard approaches Jaffa, reached from Holon along Yoseftal Street or the Sokolov corridor.
05 · The route
Planning the drive in Holon
Three intercity roads ring Holon. Its western edge follows the Ayalon (Highway 20), with the Holon and Wolfson interchanges. On the east, the HaShikma interchange, also called Holon East, ties the city and its industrial zone to Highway 4. Derech HaShiv'a (Route 44), which grew from the old caravan road between Jaffa and Jerusalem, heads northeast toward Lod and Ramla.
In town, Sokolov Street and Dov Hoz Boulevard form the old commercial spine, and Golda Meir Boulevard anchors the new center. Sokolov is also where Green Line works began. For seaside photos in Bat Yam, Yoseftal Street leads west.
- Highway 20 (Ayalon): Holon and Wolfson interchanges
- Highway 4: HaShikma (Holon East) interchange
- Derech HaShiv'a (Route 44): toward Lod and Ramla
- Sokolov Street and Dov Hoz Boulevard
- Golda Meir Boulevard
06 · Chauffeur or self-drive
A wedding car with a chauffeur in Holon
Holon looks simple on a map, but a wedding day here often strings together small, scattered stops: a garden on Jerusalem Boulevard, steel by the Mediatheque, a lake in the southeast. Each needs a legal place to pull over, and some streets have light-rail works. With a chauffeur, you hop out, pose and climb back into the G-Wagon while someone else sorts out the rest.

09 · Questions
Questions about a wedding in Holon
Holon has no beach. Where can we shoot by the water?
Two places stand out. The Peres Park lake stretches about 200 meters, with a rock waterfall at the north end and a bridge across it, and late in the day it mirrors the sky. The Japanese Garden on Jerusalem Boulevard has a small waterfall, streams and a pagoda house ringed by water. The garden is intimate, the lake open and wide: choose by the style you want.
Where does the light-rail construction in Holon affect traffic?
The Green Line is planned to link Holon with Tel Aviv. Its two southern branches are to meet at Sokolov station, and one of them runs the full length of Jerusalem Boulevard. Preliminary work on Sokolov Street began in 2020, and a pedestrian mall is planned between Krause Street and Kugel Boulevard. If your pickup or photos are nearby, check the current arrangements that week.
What's the way into Peres Park from Highway 4?
The park is in the southeast, with Kiryat Sharet to the north and the industrial zone to the east. The HaShikma interchange, also called Holon East, links the city and that zone with Highway 4, the natural way in from the east. Not every movement is open at the interchange, so confirm the direction in your navigation app before setting off.
