Wedding Car Rental in Modi'in

From a ring street on a hilltop, past the lake in Anava Park, to a hall in town or on the road to Jerusalem or Tel Aviv, in a black G-Wagon.

A wedding car rental in Modi'in looks simple on paper: a young city, wide boulevards, highways in every direction. On the day, though, you may start on a ring street circling a hilltop, drop into a boulevard in the valley, then head toward Jerusalem or the Tel Aviv area. Our black Mercedes-AMG G63, with its orange quilted-leather cabin, is yours with a chauffeur or to drive yourselves.

Modi'in has drawn a large community of olim, Jewish immigrants, from English-speaking countries. If your family is part of it, or you're flying in for the wedding, the whole booking runs in English: WhatsApp, phone and the day itself. Read on for where to stop among the city's three kinds of green, which highway suits your hall, and what to settle early.

01 · Modi'in

Why couples in Modi'in choose the G-Class

  • A city drawn around hills

Architect Moshe Safdie's master plan, begun in 1988, set the neighborhoods on hilltops as rings and ran the main boulevards through the valleys, with bridges spanning the height differences. A wedding drive here moves between levels: ring street, boulevard, bridge and open view.

  • Three kinds of green

Anava Park fills the center with a lake, an orchard and an amphitheater. Ben Shemen Forest, about 21,000 dunams (some 5,200 acres) of pine, cypress and eucalyptus, starts on the western edge. To the east, Titura Hill is kept as an urban nature site with trails and ruins.

  • Halfway between two big cities

Modi'in was planned as a regional city between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, and the road map shows it: Route 443 east and west, Route 431 to Route 1 and the Ayalon Highway, and trains both ways. Your hall may lie in either direction, so choose the highway before the photo stops.

02 · Pickup

Pickup on the day in Modi'in

Most neighborhoods sit on hills, wrapped by ring streets, with the shopping centers down in the boulevards, so a pickup usually happens on the ring itself. One local quirk: until 2009 many neighborhoods carried their architects' names, so Kaiser is now Avnei Chen, and Buchman is now HaShevatim and Moriah. Send a full street address rather than an old name.

Maccabim and Re'ut, in the southeast corner of the city, are mostly single-family houses, and Maccabim is separated from the rest of Modi'in by farmland. A yard gives you room for first pictures by the car. Route 443 is right on the doorstep, but photos in Anava Park mean a drive back through town.

Typical pickups

  • A villa in Maccabim or Re'ut, with Route 443 close by
  • An apartment in Nofim or Moreshet, between Route 431 and the Anava stream
  • Lakeside photos in Anava Park, then on to a hall in the technology park
  • A hall in Jerusalem or the Tel Aviv area: pick 443 or 431 ahead of time

03 · Photos

Photo stops with the car in Modi'in

Public places couples choose for photos, with what to know before you go.
  • 01

Anava Park: the lake and the orchard

The central park opened in April 2010 around a lake about 570 meters (1,870 feet) in circumference. East of the water, an orchard of olive, almond, oak and vine surrounds a stone-clad pergola; south of it, an amphitheater looks down a sloping lawn.

Pull over on a side street where it's legal.

  • 02

    The Anava Trail

From the lake, a path of about five kilometers (three miles) follows the Anava stream west toward Paatei Modi'in station. Runoff traps along its course fill into pools in winter and spill over in small cascades after rain. Quiet walking shots, away from road noise.

Motor vehicles are banned on the trail, so the G-Class stays at one of the entrances.

  • 03

    Titura Hill

An archaeological mound rising to about 300 meters (980 feet) at the north end of Emek Ayalon Street, topped by the ruins of a Crusader road fort and kept as an urban nature site. The view west takes in Ben Shemen Forest and the Tel Aviv skyline, with afternoon light behind the car.

An antiquities site: keep to the marked paths and off the ruins.

  • 04

Mitzpe Modi'in in Ben Shemen Forest

A fire-lookout tower that KKL-JNF built in 1963 in bare concrete, shaped as an inverted cone to evoke a torch honoring the Maccabean revolt. The access road branches south off Route 443 east of Ben Shemen interchange. Set the black car in front of that torch outline for a sharp, graphic frame.

Usually closed to visitors: shoot from outside and park only in the lot.

  • 05

    Dam HaMaccabim Boulevard promenade

In the business district, a promenade runs along Dam HaMaccabim Boulevard past offices and apartments with shops at street level, linking the transit plaza, Anava Park and Modi'in Central station. Safdie Architects took part in its design. An urban backdrop for pictures after sunset.

During city events the boulevard closes to traffic and becomes a pedestrian zone.

04 · Event areas

Where weddings happen around Modi'in

  • According to a local venue directory, most of Modi'in's event halls are in the technology park, the employment zone in the northwest of the city near Ben Shemen Forest.
  • The same directory lists garden venues around the city for couples who want the chuppah, the wedding canopy, under open sky.

05 · The route

Planning the drive in Modi'in

Westward, Route 431 runs to Anava interchange on Route 1, crosses Route 6 at Nesharim and ends on the Ayalon Highway, with the railway in its median near the city. Route 443 also heads west, to Ben Shemen interchange, where Routes 1, 6, 443 and 444 meet.

Eastward, Route 443 climbs through the Benjamin hills, partly through the West Bank, and becomes Route 45 before joining Begin Boulevard in Jerusalem. Westbound drivers pass the Maccabim checkpoint, a vehicle inspection point near the Green Line, so leave a margin on the way back.

  • Route 431: Anava (Route 1), Nesharim (Route 6), the Ayalon Highway
  • Route 443: Ben Shemen interchange, Shilat and Maccabim-Re'ut junctions
  • Maccabim checkpoint on Route 443, westbound
  • Hashmonaim Boulevard through the city

06 · Chauffeur or self-drive

A wedding car with a chauffeur in Modi'in

A Modi'in wedding may stay in town or leave for Jerusalem or the Tel Aviv area, with a late drive home through the Maccabim checkpoint or Anava interchange. With a chauffeur, neither of you navigates rings, bridges and interchanges in a gown and suit, and nobody has to decide at midnight who's driving. You simply step out by the lake or beneath the torch tower.

09 · Questions

Questions about a wedding in Modi'in

The hall is in Jerusalem: Route 443 or Route 1?

Both work, and the hall's location decides. Route 443 climbs through the Benjamin hills and, as Route 45, joins Begin Boulevard. Heading home west on it, you pass the Maccabim checkpoint, where vehicles are inspected. Route 1 is reached via Route 431 at Anava interchange. Check live traffic on both as the photos wrap up.

Can the car drive into Anava Park?

There's no need. Hashmonaim Boulevard, the city's main artery, runs beside the park, and you walk from the street to the lake and the orchard. The Anava Trail is closed to motor vehicles. Photos with the car happen on a side street where you can legally pull over, with the park's trees behind you.

When do the wildflowers bloom on Titura Hill?

More than 180 cisterns and caves hold water on the hill, and the plant life shows it. Autumn brings autumn crocus and autumn squill, winter brings cyclamen and red anemones, and in spring some 80 species flower. For a winter or spring wedding, the hill adds color behind the car.

Is there roadwork on Route 443 we should know about?

In August 2025 the National Infrastructure Committee approved upgrading the stretch between Maccabim-Re'ut junction and Ben Shemen interchange, with six new interchanges, including one at Shilat junction. In July 2026 Netivei Israel, the national roads company, announced a new traffic light at Mevo Modi'im junction. Look up current works the week before the wedding.
